Big congrats Irene!! I bet you impressed them with all that work.

Hope you love the job and can grow even more - big things are in store.

Btw, I followed Ship30for30 from Nicolas Cole, I would definitely recommend it :)

Hi Marie, thank you so much! I honestly can't believe it's been three weeks since I started. Time has been flying by. It's been busy, but I love what I do and the people I work with. I'm learning so much every day!

Thanks for recommending Ship30for30! I've heard of it before, but I've never joined the cohort. Have you? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. 😊

And I LOVE Nicolas Cole's writing. 😭😭😭 So clear, concise, straight-to-the-point, and confident.

Let me know if you want to join Ship30, I think I can get you a discount code!! 👩‍💻

I loved the course, it was very energetic and one of the best cohorts I've followed. Thanks to it, I managed to get a good writing rhythm, and it's also how I discovered Substack + Medium.

I think the basic course is definitely worth it. I also payed for the upgrade (premium) version, and that was in my opinion not worth the money.

Nicolas is a great writer, and a cool dude in general!! Together with Dickie it's an awesome duo, they are really inspirational

Hey Irene! This week, my brother-in-law visited us, stayed for 3 days, and invited us to go house hunting with him! He’s also happy to see our son. Watching him show affection for our son made me feel contented!

Your story of landing your dream role reminded me of a saying, “you reap what you sow.” I’m thrilled that your efforts paid off! Looking forward to hearing more about your experiences working at Kurogo!

This is a well-written and detailed article, I enjoyed reading it and identified with a lot here. How to stand out at each stage is practical, I have used the same approach. Thank you for the recommendation. :-)

Hi Tinashe, thank you so much for reading it! And putting in effort to stand out at every stage truly, truly, is worth the effort. And I genuinely encourage everyone to do it - especially if it's for a job they want. I'm happy to hear this approach worked for you too! And of course, your post came at the perfect time for me - super helpful. 😊
